This is the most incredible and perhaps one of the most beautiful star clusters you will ever see, and the best part is it can be seen in full with a good pair of binoculars. The Pleidas cluster is known as the seven sisters. It is relatively easy to locate and view. If you find Taurus and the Hyades Cluster, look a little farther above it and you will see a faint cloud like light just above it. Through binoculars the cloud reveals itself as M45. The Seven Sisters! If you look closely it kinda resembels the little dipper in a way.Named after its location, M31 is by far the most
It is one of the few galaxies that we can see with
the naked eye. To find M31 look for the familiar shape of Cassiopia then use the bottom star to travel to the right, from there stop just above the bright yellow star of Andromeda. You should see a fuzzy oval shaped dot that looks like a football. That's our sister galaxy M31
FUN FACT: Andromeda is approching our galaxy head on. Scientists and Astronomers say that in the next 10 billion years, the two will collide and create a new galaxy. It is equal in size to the Milky Way and looks just like it too!
